Study

Online

I am definitely going to continue my classes over Skype and would love to go back and take more intensive Spanish. And it is not just the teachers who are wonderful - the entire place is - they are very kind and hospitable.

Is it Equal?

Our online classes are the same as our in-person classes: one teacher, focused on your customized learning program. Many students study online, then come for a week or a few in person, then continue online. Other students have studied with us online for years.

CAN I really learn spanish online?

Hundreds of our students will give you a resounding yes. Remember, this isn't Rosetta Stone or a CD. This is a Guatemalan teacher, a native Spanish speaker, talking with you, solving your questions.

Can I change my teacher?

Of course. Different folks connect with different teachers. Sometimes your learning style and needs will change over time as well.

Can I STart Any DAy of the week?

Yes, you can. We can also usually accommodate signups one day, with classes starting the next day, if you'd like.

Can I Study With a Friend?

Yes, you can. Some people find that studying together in a 2-on-1 class works better for them. Others try it, and then decide to study separately. It's up to you.

When are the classes?

When they suit your schedule. Since we have students all over the world, we are very flexible.

Can I reschedule a class?

You can reschedule a class up to 12 hours prior to its start time. A class may be rescheduled up to a maximum of 3 times.

WHat if the internet isn't working?

We can't be responsible for your internet or computer problems, of course. If you don't join a class as scheduled, we have to count it as a class taken, as we have to pay the teacher for his/her time. If we have a technical problem on our end, however, we will reschedule the lesson at your convenience.

how often should i study?

Regular learning and practice will help you progress, so we suggest that you have at least one online lesson every 60 days. After a gap of more than 60 days, we will assume that you have ended your course, and remaining lessons from your package are not refundable.

I have been taking private lessons online for over 3 months. My teacher is very qualified and patient. We have worked together through some complicated grammar rules and practiced conversation. She always makes me feel good about what I am learning. I recommend this school to anyone interested in learning.
